Post A Day in November

Hey everyone. I have decided that I am going to try something new in November. I am going to try to post a blog every Monday-Friday. I hope I can do this. Life has been so crazy with a new baby on the way. I am almost done with this pregnancy. I am so excited! We are having a baby boy! I am also trying to move before the baby gets here. Would be nice to find a place and get moved before I go into labor so I can spend as much time with that precious bundle of joy. I will try to keep this task up so if you have any ideas of blog post that you guys would like to see, please let me know. I love to  hear your feedback.

4. English peas. Gross.

6. Liars. I cannot stand a liar. It isn't that hard to tell the truth.

11. Porn. I see no need in it. It's gross and a horrible way to make a living.
12. Animal abusers. This makes me severely angry when someone hurts an animal.

Revlon Nearly Naked Review

Hello guys!

I am going to write a review on the Revlon Nearly Naked foundation and powder. I was skeptical when I first tried this foundation but I was pleasantly surprised! This is one of the best foundations I have found on the market. It blends smoothly and evenly on the skin. It's lasting power is quite amazing. I can't say enough good things about this foundation. The packaging caught my attention as I am a sucker for any white packaging. It is simple, sleek, and pretty. The one downfall I have with this foundation is the glass bottle. I wish it had a pump to go with it or a squeeze tube. It would make application a lot less messy but that's the only complaint I have with that foundation. I am quite fair, so I got the lightest shade and it actually matches me perfectly. They have quite a color selection so if you have not tried this foundation, I highly recommend it. This foundation sits lightly on the skin, the coverage, I would say, is medium, although you can make it full coverage.

Moving to the powder, I am a big fan of Mac Mineralized Skinfinish as my powder. I use it religiously. I decided to give the Revlon Nearly Naked powder a try since I was buying the foundation. It pleased me. It is a fine powder that does not make you look cakey and pretty much blended into my skin flawlessly. It also has the white packaging which I am a sucker for. I wouldn't say it is a must have product, but I would give it a try if you are in the market for a good powder.

I hope you guys enjoyed this review and I will see you guys soon!

What I got for Valentines Day!

Hey guys! I'm back with another blog. This one is talking about Valentines Day! I hope everyone had an amazing Valentines Day wether you are single or you have a significant other.

My boyfriend went all out. This was our first valentines together. It started when we woke up. He kissed me and told me happy Valentines Day. He sent me flowers to my work, my favorite, Lilly's and tulips! They were gorgeous. My best friend also sent me a beautiful rose to my work place. My mom surprised me at work with a new purse and a new clutch! It was a great surprise. Those made me really happy. I get home from work and I walk into my house to find candles everywhere, a gift bag filled with goodies, and a 4 course meal served by my boyfriend. Decorations were up, food was delicious, and to end the night, he gave me a dozen cuppicakes from my favorite bakery. I felt super loved. I hope you guys felt as loved as I did and let me know in the comments what happened to you on valentines day!

Mucho love,

Ipsy bag for February

Hey guys! I just got my Ipsy bag in. If you don't know what Ipsy is, it is an online site where you can pay 10.00 a month to get a bag full of goodies. I love Ipsy. I get to try new products that I would never usually try. I'm going to start doing a monthly Ipsy bag review. You can go on Ipsy.com and fill out a beauty quiz for free to determine what products best suit your taste. (I am not affiliated with this company. I just support them in what they do.)

This month you get a sleek black bag with a red inside which I love. I got 5 products in this months bag.

The first product is from Pop Beauty. It is a mascara. The packaging is super cute.

The next item is from Mica Beauty Cosmetics. It is a gel liner in black.

The next item is a primer from the brand pixi. Flawless and poreless primer.

Next, I got a sample eyeshadow pack from coastal scents in the colors Dark Goldenrod, Sunbeam, Golden Globe, and Dark Golden Olive.

Last but not least, I got a pack of lash cards to guard your makeup when putting on mascara.

I am quite impressed with the items I have received this month. Ill let you know of any of these products stood out to me when I use them and I will be back next month with a new Ipsy bag review for you!

L'oreal Paris Infallible Eyeshadow Review

Hey guys! I have a review for you today. I've been trying the new Infallible Eyeshadows from L'oreal Paris. I have to say these Eyeshadows are amazing. I love the velvety feel of them, the wonderful pigmentation, and the staying power. The packaging is very chic and it is easy to find the color I'm looking for in my makeup collection. The eyeshadows come with a little stopper that holds the pigments and keeps them pressed down. Make sure to keep this stopper. The eyeshadows are loose pigments that have been pressed down and they seriously feel like velvet. When you apply a primer to your eyes, the shadows will pop even more and the lasting power is incredible. I own 5 shades from the line and I'm thinking of going back to get more. The shades I own are:

Eternal sunshine- this color is like a shimmery yellow gold that looks great on the lid of the eye.
Endless pearl- this is a matte shade. It really helps to brighten the eye look when used on the inner corner of the eye and under the brow bone.
Bronzed taupe- this is a deeper shimmer color that looks great in the crease if the eye to help darken a look.
Amber rush- this is like a rose gold shimmer color that looks great on the lid. I love this color as I favor rose gold on anything!
Iced latte- this is a shimmery white color that can be used most anywhere to help brighten a look instantly.

There are many more colors in the line but these are the ones I own. By far, one of the best hits from the drugstore. They are around 5-6 dollars a piece and compare to department brands, if not better. If you own any of these or if you try them, let me know what you think of them!

Drugstore Haul

Hey guys!!

So, there are some great new things at the drugstore. I picked up a few makeup items the other day when I went browsing. I am gonna share what I bought and then later after I have tried some of the products, do a complete review on all the products so look forward to some great reviews coming your way. Let us see what I bought!

First, I bought the Revlon Color Stay Whipped Creme Foundation. The packaging is very nice on this. My only concern was finding the right shade because you cannot really see the color selection through the glass. Seeing as though it is glass, I have to be super careful with this when I travel. I went with the lightest shade in 150 Buff. We will see how this works out after I use it for a while.

Next, I also picked up the Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation. I have heard a lot about this recently and thought I would give it a go. It is also in a glass bottle and the packaging is minimal but nice. I got the color in 010 Fair. With that I also picked up the Revlon Nearly Naked Powder in 110 Ivory.

I also picked up the L'oreal Paris Infalliable Eyeshadow in Endless Sea. This is a beautiful Turquoise eyeshadow. I love the Infalliable eyeshadows because they feel like velvet. We will see if I end up loving this one as much as the others that I own (which I am going to do a blog post on as well).

Moving on to eyeliners, I picked up the Rimmel London Scandaleyes in the colors brown and Sparkly black. I have heard great things about these eyeliners.

Keeping in line with eye products, I also picked up another 24 hour Color Tattoo in the color Inked in Pink. I love the Color Tattoo line.

Fergie has come out with a Wet 'N' Wild collection. The only thing that peaked my interest was the Fergie Shimmer Pallet in the color Rose Champagne Glow. I have high expectations for this product. I hope it is not a total fail.

Moving on to lips. Oh, the amount of lip products coming out in the drugstores now. I picked up the L'Oreal Colour Riche Caresse Aqua Lip Lacquer in the color Pink Resistance. This looked interesting to me and when I swatched it on my hand, felt like water. I hope this product feels as good on the lips as it did on my hands.

I also picked up Maybelline Color Whisper Lipstick in Coral Ambition after hearing the buzz on these new lip products. I heard they are supposed to be Maybellines take on the Revlon Lip Butters which I so love. We will see.

I picked up two Kate Moss Lipsticks. I have heard nothing but good things around the blogging community about the Kate Moss lipsticks. I got the numbers 107 and 103.

I picked up the Rimmel Stay Glossy lipgloss in Timeless Allure. It looked interesting so I was like, lets have a go and see what it is all about.

Last but not certainly not least, Neutrogena Moisture Smooth Color Stick in Rich Raisin color number 80.

That is what I have picked up from the drugstore lately and look forward to some in depth reviews on these products in the upcoming blogs.

Stay sweet,
XOXO

What is in my travel makeup bag

Hey guys!

Today I want to tell you about what I carry around in my makeup travel bag. These are just the products that I carry around with me on a daily bases. The products in this bag are always changing but for right now these are the products I am loving.

(This is the second time I am attempting to post this blog post. The other one got deleted into thin air so here we go again).

First thing first is the makeup bag. I got this from my Ipsy glam bag I receive each month. Ipsy is an amazing beauty bag you can receive each month with 4-5 products for only 10.00 a month. I have tried many beauty subscriptions and this one is by far the best. I will start doing a what I got from Ipsy blog post each month. Anyways, back to the blog post. This bag is a metallic silver which is just big enough for me to hold all my essential products. I love this bag and you get a new bag each month. ( I promise I am not affiliated with Ipsy. I just love their stuff!)

Face Products:

The face products that I carry around with me consist of Rimmel Stay Matte Powder and my Laura Mercier poof for application. I love this powder. It keeps my face matte throughout the day without making it look cakey. I love the giant Laura Mercier poof. It helps me to blot my face with the Stay Matte Powder and smooths out my complexion.

Next for face I carry around my Redpoint Concealer. I love this stuff. It has two different shades. One salmon color and one flesh color. I love touching up my spots or under my eyes if I am gonna be having a long day or need to change my look up. This concealer is so creamy and blends smoothly. Love it.

Eyes:

Let us talk about eyes! I like carrying around eye products with me in case I need to change my look from day to night. The first thing I carry around with me is my L'oreal Paris Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner in Black/Noir. This eyeliner is easy to smudge out for a smokey look and stays in place all day. It is huge so there is a ton of product and it does not tug on your eye in application.

Next is my Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara. This is a mini tube that I got from a gift set which fits perfectly in my makeup bag. I love this mascara. It gives me the perfect lashes when I am on the go. I also own the full size.

Lips:

Oh goodness. Lip products come in abundance in my makeup bag. I love having an assortment. First I have Baby Lips in Cherry. This is my favorite baby lips. This lip balm gives you a tiny amount of color flush to your lips and it is very moisturizing. It also smells like red sprees! Next I have Covergirl Natureluxe Lip Balm. This is not my favorite but it gets the job done if I am in a hurry and just want to moisturize my lips. I also carry around the Korres Lip Butter Glaze in Jasmine. I have this in the squeeze tube and the pot form. That should tell you how much I love it. Korres lip glazes are super moisturizing, smells great, and goes on so smoothly. I cannot say enough good things about these products. I also have my Mac Tendertone in Hot 'N' Spicy. This is wonderful. The smell is amazing, the color payoff, spectacular, and leaves the lips super moisturized. This looks even more amazing on top of a red lip. I also have the Laura Mercier lip gloss in Sparkling. I think I got this from a Sephora set or free gift but don't hold that against me. It is the perfect size to carry around in my makeup bag. It is a salmon pink color with flecks of gold shimmer that makes your lips sparkle. This is great to top off on almost any lip color. Last but not least I carry around two lipsticks with me for two different looks. The first everyday color I have is Mac Capricious. This is a great mauve color that is great for everyday. If I am in a rush in the mornings I just plop this on my lips and fly out the door. For a more dramatic night look, I have Revlon Black Cherry. You can sheer this color out to make it less dramatic or deepen it for that deep red look.

Perfume:

Remember those samples you get from Sephora and other department stores. Put one in your makeup bag instead of carrying around a big perfume bottle. Currently I have Betsy Johnson Too Too Pretty. Carrying around perfume samples lightens your bag and prevents throwing away all those perfume samples.

I really hope you enjoyed this blog. If you have any blogs you would like to see, please email me or leave suggestions in the bottom box below.
